Routes

If we leave "La Solana" climbing up to the mountain, we cross meadows and fields where cows graze freely.

We can see Boal and other small villages and, further up, it is possible to watch spectacular views of Navia valley and its dams, very similar to Norwegian fiords and which are between 700 and 1,000 m high.

Beautiful villages are seen in the mountain, with its white houses which highlight from the green landscape. Very often, semi-wild horses come with us and, in spring time, they are usually with their colts. When we get the top of the mountain, we distinguish the coast, framed by the colours of heather and gorse. Great scenery and views and superb wildlife possibilities!

At the end, if roads and paths give their permission, "La Solana" guarantees culinary excellence for riders and delicious hay for horses.
